Smarter Provider Connections & Automatic Geo-Bypass

A major reliability upgrade to how we connect to your upstream providers — an automatic Direct → VPN → Residential → Tor bypass cascade, a new residential proxy tier for the "impossible" providers, honest offline reasons, live Force Check, per-backup routes, and independent EPG bypass.

Big reliability update: we've massively upgraded how iptv.domains connects to your upstream providers — especially the stubborn ones that block external connections.

What's new

  • Automatic geo-bypass cascade — when a provider blocks our servers, the system automatically tries Direct → VPN → Residential → Tor and pins whatever works. No setup, no fiddling.
  • Residential proxy tier — some providers block all VPN/datacenter IPs (anti-bot WAFs). A new residential layer gets through where VPN/Tor can't — the missing piece for "impossible" providers. You can also plug in your own residential proxy for maximum reliability.
  • Honest status — providers now show why they're offline ("Geo-blocked — needs residential proxy", "Connection timed out", etc.) instead of a vague "offline".
  • Live Force Check — re-checking a provider runs in the background with real-time progress, right on the page. No more spinners or timeouts.
  • Per-backup routes — every backup URL is now its own first-class endpoint: checked independently, with its own status and its own proxy if needed.
  • Independent EPG bypass — your TV guide gets its own route (many providers host the guide on a separate server), so EPG stays online even when the main feed needs a different path.
  • Auto-check on add/import — add or import a provider and it immediately finds a working route in the background.

One reminder

All of this proxying is backend-only (status checks, syncing, EPG). Your IPTV app always streams directly from your own connection — playback speed and quality are never affected.

Huge thanks to everyone who reported blocked providers — your "broken" setups are exactly what made this possible.
